Fun Classes
-
Instead of cramming these into the lunch breaks, they'll be interspersed between divisions throughout the show
-
Proposed classes: prop & vehicle workmanship, rider doll and tack workmanship, lovebirds (it will be Valentine's Day, after all!), Just Old Timers, Breyerfest plushes, collection of 5. I welcome your ideas too!
What's with the weird ring designation letters (A, B, M, O, W, X, Y)??
-
This is intended to minimize confusion with audible announcements--these letters all sound different enough to virtually eliminate mixups

Classlist & Show Packet
-
Available as a Google Sheet here: SCMHS Packet 2026
-
You can export it as an .xlsx, .csv., or .pdf file. However, I wouldn't do that until a couple months before the show, as interim tweaks to the classlist will happen as I go through the NAMHSA-approval process, add the fun classes, and implement shower suggestions.
-
In addition, I will be adding a classlist version with spots added for tracking your entries. That way you will be able to print out and export the version that works best for you.
Entry Form
-
Available as a Google Form here: Fillable Entry Form
-
You may submit the form online (highly preferred) or print and mail it.
-
Note that you'll also need to sign a liability waiver at some point, but I don't have that ready yet. You can still enter now.
Table Selection Form
-
Once you have submitted your entry form, you can submit your table location preferences via this form: Table Selection Form. Then you can view your assigned spot in the show packet (see the tabs at the bottom).

Donations, Raffles, Auctions, Etc.
Sunset Coast will have separate raffles and silent auctions on both show days, plus other fundraisers in the months leading up to the show. We're actively seeking donations for all of these! If you'd like to donate, please use the form at the bottom of this page to get in touch.
Judges
As of February 2026, all judge selections have been made (current list of judges is viewable at the show packet link above). However, if you'd like to attend to be a standby judge, please fill out the application form here.

Judges' perks:
-
If only judging one day, free show entry on the day you're not judging (to ensure full focus on the task of judging, judges may only show on a day they are not judging).
-
Free lunch and refreshments both show days
-
Special thank you gifts
-
A stipend of some sort (to be determined; this is the show's first year, so I'm not sure yet what the budget will turn out to have room for)
-
No need to yell class calls, as we'll have an announcer with a mic
-
Organized system for card collection, recordkeeping, and ribbon distribution

Venue
-
Address: Fullerton Community Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton, CA 92832 (maps and detailed directions to be posted later)

About the Property: This is a modern, climate-controlled event facility on a single, accessible floor at ground level. It has a convenient drop-off semi-circle for loading and unloading, plus automatic doors, and plenty of free, adjacent parking. It also offers a private outdoor terrace for fresh air breaks. Please note this is a fully non-smoking property. Also, we are not paying for permission to have alcohol on the premises, so please leave any adult beverages at home. :)
-
What's nearby?
-
A TON of great, independent restaurants and taverns (there are two college campuses nearby, so that means plenty of food and bar options!)
-
Within about 5-10 minutes' drive are: Target, Walmart, Costco, and Amazon Fresh, in addition to an array of fast food places and sit-down chain restaurants (In-n-Out, Del Taco, Raisin' Cane's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Carl's Jr, Jack in the Box, Sonic, Panda Express, El Pollo Loco, Panera, The Habit Burger, Chick-Fil-A, IHOP, Broken Yolk Cafe, Denny's, etc.). Particularly of note: an Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant that occupies a historic Union Pacific train depot adjacent to Fullerton Station.
-
Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm are each about 10-15 minutes away by car
-
Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks NHL team, is about 15 minutes away by car. It's also accessible via train from Fullerton Station--just one stop down the line!
-
Air access: The closest and easiest-access airports are Long Beach (LGB) and John Wayne/Orange County (SNA). Other metro airports that are just a bit further away: Los Angeles Int'l (LAX), Ontario Int'l (ONT), and Hollywood Burbank (BUR).
-
Amtrak access: Fullerton Station is just a half mile from the venue for those who want to take advantage of Amtrak or Metrolink rail access.
-
Car access: The venue is situated about a mile and a half north of Route 91 (Riverside Freeway), and only 3.5 miles from both the I-5 and Route 57.
-
Host Hotel: There will not be a designated host hotel this year. If you would like assistance finding a place nearby, please drop a line and I'll be happy to help.
